Company Profile
Gramrode Møbelfabrik was founded in 1924. From the beginning the production was mostly easy chairs and sofas with visible wooden frames. In 1960 the production of dining room furniture in solid wood based on a unique mix of workmanship and design started. In the following years the company has succeeded in developing a comprehensive range of chairs and tables, which today is being exported all over the world. It takes precision and professional skills to manufacture furniture in solid hardwood. Our cabinet-makers know how to use their crafts and put an honour in keeping up the best traditions from the classic cabinet maker skill.

In 2005 we started a co-operation with the designer Henrik Lehm. He has developed a chair series with the chairs named Tiger and Panther. The characteristics of the chairs are that they are made on a frame of stainless stell and very comfortable to sit in. The chairs were introduced in May 2005 on "Copenhagen International Furniture Fair" and again on the "imm cologne The International Furniture Fair 2006" with great success. The Tiger chair was nominated for the "Interior innovation award cologne 2006". We are sure that we are going to have a succesfull co-operation with Mr. Henrik Lehm.
