About Danish Furniture
Danish furniture has been at the forefront of the very best in high quality furniture for almost one hundred years. It has long been known for its superior quality and finish, and for innovative design.
In the 1920s Danish furniture manufacturers began to working with architects to produce a new Danish furniture tradition. Many innovative production techniques were popularised including steamed bent wood, bent tubular metal, the use of glass, metal and upholstery. Danish furniture design has consistently taken modern, innovative solutions to commonplace problems. The Skovby petal table is a case in point - the extension leaves are stored within the tables' central podium - unique solutions for easy modern living. Today, furniture is Denmark's fifth largest export industry.

As well as our wide range of Danish nests of tables, we feature this famous Wharfside Cluster nest of tables - like much of our furniture, it is made in solid hard wood.
Our extensive home office furniture collection ranges from the traditional through to Danish modern furniture. Pieces are available in solid wood and wood veneer.

Our bedroom furniture is made by Team7 - an award-winning solid wood furniture manufacturer. Whilst it is not Danish, it draws on Danish design tradition.
